As I was at prayer one day and meditating on the word (thinking about it), I pictured in my mind what being outdoors on a hillside with thousands of people who had walked hours to see Jesus must have been like.
Many had brought sick people with them. The power coming off Jesus was indescribable. When He laid hands on the sick they instantly recovered and were made whole! What joy and happiness filled them! The power and presence of God was with them!
No wonder the Pharisees were jealous. When Jesus was around the synagogue was probably almost empty. People were out getting the word of the Lord, being healed and having a joy fest.
I believe that we are entering into a time of out pouring of the Lords glory. I want to be ready for it. His power and ability to heal are the same yesterday today and tomorrow.
Jesus is Lord!
